Nothing exactly wrong with that, but his advice isn't always that great depending on the subject matter, or he just rehashes the same thing again and again. IMHO of course..
You clearly dont read what I write, at least not often. Either that or you dont understand what I write. I'm not in the game of keeping people affraid.
Youre right about repeating myself sometimes. I constantly repeat that the basics are few, that there's peoeple out there looking to sell you crap you dont need, and that instead of wasting money in junk thinking you'll "barter" with it later, to put that money into PM instead. I repeat that kind of adivce a lot becuase people need to hear it. I review stuff that I like, then people may buy it or not. Very few items will I call "must haves".
October 1, 2008 - Beware of the Fear Merchant

http://ferfal.blogspot.com/2011/10/what-i-need-what-i-want-and-what-i-was.htmlYes, I'm lucky enough to make a living with what I love doing, preparing, shooting, training and writing about survival and disaster preparedness, but those that know me know I've posted and wrote about survival and preparedness for eight years before I even knew you could make a living blogging and writing. I profit from what I do becuase enough people consider it valuable and important, not becuase I trick anyone into being affraid. I'm just back from Salt Lake City's SelfReliance Expo where I was invited to be the keynote speaker. Nope, no one was running scared and the atmosphere was very positive. Whenever someone appraoched me with doom and gloom attitude I explained that life just goes on, a bit more complicated, certainly more dangerous, but its not the end of the world.
