Going back to the 40's, the SVT-38 and -40 were fielded in sniper roles in WW2.

Hell everyone started scoping semiautos. The USMC used M1-D's through Korea.

This guy tho... He has enough to start a museum, jeeps, generators, stacks of propaganda and uniforms... He's dumped just about 2/3 of every dollar he's made (still lives with his mom) into this.

I'm afraid that museum would be filled with a bunch of mis-information if this guy is as idiotic as you say he is, Dogan.
As for the historians not knowing there was war in Europe, did they not pay attention in history class in school ?

The M16 replaced the M14 because the m14 didn't have enough power.

Ahem. Look around bud, how many people do you you think paid attention in school?
OT: The 416 was based on the G36.

A .223 is deadly because you don't shoot COM, you shoot for a limb. You hit a guy in the hand, and it';s gonna take his arm off at the elbow.
Beta-C mags are awesome.

It's not a bad option if you live in an apartment. LL rubber slugs are a good idea from an overpenetration standpoint too. You could always load for HD so you've got two birdshot shells first, followed by two 00 buck shells, and then a slug just in case.
As far as stupid things I've heard, there was a shooting spree in Canada a few years ago at a college. The shooter used a CX4 Storm, I think in 9mm. He shot 20 people and 1 died. One of the survivors got on a soapbox calling the Storm a "military battle rifle" which has no place being legal in Canada. This from a guy who'd been shot in the head and neck and survived. Perhaps he'd rather the guy had shot him with a hunting rifle?
