Going to go and play with it this weekend and post a review later. It is the Extreme Version as promised free upgrade. First impressions; solid, cant tell it is hollow, real lock nut with washer, entire shovel has an edge (not super sharp but dangerous enough). There is a compartment door. Yea so having trouble opening it.
Came with personally signed letter apologizing for the wait, thanking me for patience and what they have improved in their systems.
More to come.

Probably because we're a preparedness forum so we assume the better answer is "well I already have the right tool for that job on hand already"
Not always the case, but I've found that ZS is typically not keen on discussing the best way to use an IMPROVISED weapon/tool, and would rather prepare ahead of time with the PROPER weapon/tool.
Your E-tool can reach further than a 147gr bullet going at 1300 fps?

Excuse my poor grammar buddy but are we not to discuss any IMPROVISED weapons? From the threads I read some people aren't as prepared as they would like.Your E-tool can reach further than a 147gr bullet going at 1300 fps?
Notice I said hand to hand. I didn't know zombies carried guns.

I feel like I need to point out that we don't ACTUALLY believe in zombies here. They are a metaphor that represents any disaster we might be preparing for.
Because if you're prepared for zombies, you're probably prepared for anything.

I just said that the most common thing I've seen on the forum is that people discuss the ideal, rather than plans to have to use improvised tools.

No, you need a text-to-speech application for that to occur.clc wrote:I would actuallly pick a E-tool over another weapon due to the extra reach and added energy. I've learned a good bit from the German manuals fromm WWII.

Really a discussion you want to have?
