Well got the new recoil guide rod from CWaccessories and it looks pretty good and solid.



Installed it right into the pistol.

Only problem was because the rod is oversized the old plastic washers wouldn't fit, just they do include a small metal one. Shot about 50 rounds through it and kept running into a problem, the barrel bushing would keep rotating and beat up the end cap for the rod.

So what I did was bore out the plastic washers to increase tension.

Now she's running flawless and hopefully she'll keep running. I must note that the finish sucks, as you can see in photos the finish looks like the rounds has 1000's of rounds through it, not only 400. The Sig will probably get AlumaHydeII coated in park gray, just the slide to start with. Will keep updating as more rounds go though and problems present.
