We had an awesome time and can't wait for next year. Planning has already began.

Bethany, so glad you are ok!

Everyone who has a pic gallery from zcon 2011, please repost a link to your gallery! Some are missing since after the data loss. Thanks!

if pictures like that were taken, then those of us who may have been naked may appreciate it not getting posted all over the internet. Just saying.

When can we expect the 2012 dates to be announced? I've decided that, no matter what, there is no force on earth or beyond it that will keep me from attending next year. I'd like to start planning immediately.

Dates will probably be the same as they always are. Third week of June. We usually officially announcement around August of Sept. Registration usually goes up Dec of Jan but I think we will try and get it up by Sept this year.

That's true. But just because something like that is said, does not mean that you can't excercise restraint and common human decency. You CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD. Just like the old arguement that the right of freedom of speech is not the right of freedom from being punched in the teeth for what you say.

Agreed. Let's all keep in mind that some people do check the forums from their work and/or school.

Yeah, I have no issue with that picture being out there, naked is no big deal for me (as evidenced by manbath) But if it ends up on facebook or the public forums, then it could cost me my job. I'd really rather that not happen. I even asked a couple people to please not take pictures at the time, but I suppose someone snuck through.

I'm really hoping to go next year but we will see. As long as the terrain isn't likely to kill a fat man. lol
