I'll do what I can to help you here but I am by no means an expert.

What im wondering is this firearm a good choice, do you think its worth the extra weight in ammo any experience with this exact make and model?

I would skip any kind of underfolder and most century guns as better can be had for the similar prices now. Underfolders have shitty cheek wield and tend to be a bit wobbly. If you want a folder on your AK I would go with a Romanian or E. German folder on a stock AKM as a cheap option or an ACE with an internal receiver block ans a more expensive and more permanent option.

Thanks in advance.
The lightning bolt is quite simply not worth the money. For what you would pay for it you could get a top of the line AK instead of a cheaper century rifle. Additionally the extra slot on the side can act as another point of entry for debris that could jam up the gun. If you want to go the whole light/red dot/rail route then the setup of choice right now is a Utilimak with an Aimpoint Micro and low profile metal flashlight mount. There is also a new side rail mount out right now that will fit standard size Aimpoints and clones and allow cowitnessing, but it has not been extensively tested and you will still have to figure out how to get a light on the rifle. Mounting any kind of red dot on a foward rail can be tricky with an AK because of the heat. This is why you don't see allot of EO-Techs on them because up until recently none of them could take the heat.
