I see several posts in here about Doctors without Borders. Just so you guys know, we are actually looking into http://www.directrelief.org/ for the charity.

If there are any objections, we haven't committed. I'm open for pros/cons.

I'm still in the process of the write up for the donation and instructions on how to donate.

Hey, ZS has much more experience in getting the right stuff to the right people than I do, so I humbly defer to your experience. If you guys think Direct Relief is the way to go, then get the ball rolling! Just show me what I need to do and where I need to do it...

Save the Children spends 10.1%

I gave my money to Direct Relief International after the Earthquake in Haiti, and was impressed with how the money was spent, and also with updates they gave me about progress and programs they were involved in...JMHO, YMMV...

if anyone works for a large corporation, they are probably willing to match your donation. You might have to ask around but it is certainly worth it to make every dollar count. My company matched my donation to the fund I donated to.
