Us Richmond area people, do we have any sort of monthly meetings, if so ware, if not why not try and set some up... I'm not sure how many of us there are in the area but its good to have faces to go with screen names in the event of any sort of SHTF situation. If there are no meetings I've got a back porch and a grill.

Nope, no anything is going on in richmond, I have contacted multiple members in the richmond area and no one seems to be able to meet except one other and that is for range time (which I appreciate ). So If others are willing I am glad to help facilitate something.
I have some friends who are current and fomer military/LEO that are trying to start a tactical firearms group. Only hold up is the location (TBD) as most ranges don't allow the "run-n-gun" type practice.

So if you are itchy to get something started, let me know.

I do not go to the chapter meetings currently because they are 3.5 hours from my home. However, Richmond is 30 minutes from me. If you guys come up with a Richmond area location, I am down.

We could meet up at the show if people are interested. Unsure about saturday, that is REI"s yard sale day. Looking forward to getting some good deals on camping stuff. I could do later or Sunday, either one, and/or we could get some chow somewhere near there.

You wouldn't want to eat at any of the fine establishments around the RIR area, that's one of the area's I worked on the squad. The food is OK , the clientele, not so good.

10 minutes down the road by the interstate their are a bunch of chain eatery's if interested.

There have been about 10 or 12 people that I have communicated with over the last couple of years in richmond, I have only met one or two. I have offered to meet all of them !!
Also, one of them has graciously offered some range time to members if you are interested.

ya me and stimpy have meet up, and im prety sure i could spot him in a crowd. but as far as identifying each other, maybe figure out what time about we all arrive and meet up outside the main entrance. once at least two of us are there it shouldn't be to hard to as "hey you, are you with ZS".
