Firearms forum undergoing changes

Postby PistolPete » Sun Feb 06, 2011 9:08 pm

The Firearms forum is going to be locked for a bit while some changes are made. It should be available again for posting by 10p central or so.

Are we going to have to get a background check before we post?

If any alphabet soup type agencies show up, asking questions... I KNOW NOTHING.

ZS Firearms: HOT or NOT?

Postby JTNieman » Sun Feb 06, 2011 9:29 pm

So I had my AR out to the range this weekend. I can safely say that my AK is nothing more than a range toy from now on, and maybe a backup until I get a second AR. This was a beautiful machine.

Needs more EOTech and surfire light. I sure it's personal preference but the AFG is backwards.

Hey, Pete, I hate to be an ass suggesting something, but did you guys think about adding a Reloading subforum to that list?

Just a suggestion...

Why not give the "gun porn" topics their own subforum?

It looks like they've split it into FIVE separate firearms subforums. It's not April 1st, so I'm not getting how this is in any way in line with the ZS Board that consistently wishes to minimize the overwhelmingly disproportionate traffic concerning firearms on this general prepping site.

I don't really agree with this move. I mean, it doesn't make sense from the standpoint of how many at the top don't seem to like the Firearms subforum anyway.

Making MORE firearms forums would run counter to what I think they want to do, seeing as it broadens the scope of firearms as preps even more, rather than narrowing it.

Maybe it'll work out fine. I dunno. Good luck everyone. :D

This is certainly a step forward from an organizational point of view but I don't think it will help much with the dick swinging or seagulls. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

They have their own thread, but people seem to think every new gun they buy is thread worthy. I like looking at gun porn so I don't mind; I'd guess neither do most other people.
