ATS Warbelt with ATS suspenders, Inner belt is a BIanchi Accumold Elite.
Pouches are listed right to left.

The knives will probably change at a later date. I wasnt comfortable putting my new knives onto a MOLLE belt with MALICE clips so I wanted to try this first.

This belt is designed primarily as my hunting belt with the secondary mission of being a quasi first line under my chest rig. I have been using it for a few months now and I have no real complaints. The suspenders will be updated later and replaced with the Condor H harness. I will still keep the ATS suspenders for use under the chest rig.
One thing to keep in mind is that you structure your gear for your mission, not the other way around. The beauty of this set up is that I can change pouches around depending on what the mission is. I can add my pistol and mags, I can drop the rifle ammo pouch and add AR pouches. I can change all these things with little or no difficulty.

Nice man! Maybe a better post label would be "Bat-belt". Looks like you have it all covered and at the same time clean and efficient. I'm assuming this is last ditch kinda stuff?

I have one of those head lamps, mine buuurns through batteries. For a hunting setup, I think you've got all your bases covered and then some. I'm curious on the weight too.

Thats the two position LED and one position incandescent model. It does pretty good on batteries. Although my next headlamp will be AA.

Yeah, that's the same one I have. I replaced it with a Browning 2x AAA model with Red/White single LED and I haven't had it go dead on me. Not exactly apples to apples, but oh well. If yours works good, that's cool. I did not have a good experience with mine. Maybe it was a dud.

Petzl Rinks is a great recommendation. I have a Rinks Plus and some other that I forgot I had in my pack till today.

Actually, the ATS suspenders are attached, but I'm not happy with them (they roll of of your shoulders on smooth clothing). I will be switching to the Condor H harness shortly.

I like how you utilized the extra space in the canteen holders. However, I do not agree with the kit as a unit because it violates my, personal, slick back/belly rule. Especially for the intended purpose, I would want to minimize acute back injuries.

If I understand the reasoning, if you were to get thrown back suddenly, your back would be immediately bent backwards over a lump; in this case, your gear. Creating risk of a back injury.

There has been numerous substantiated accounts of severe back injury as a result of carrying a pistol SOB (Small of Back). On my webgear (vest) the only thing I have SOB is a pouch with a MILSPEC Poncho and 6 bungee cords.

nice really nice..ive been thinking about getting a setup like that. plenty of guys in Afghanistan wore them with plate carriers. they spoke in high regards to the set up.

I know of a few people that during my LE career got hurt by keeping there handcuffs in their SOB. But thee isnt much in that center pouch, I could probably ditch most of it if I made a pocket survival kit.

Falling is pretty much the reason why I commented as such. From an arm chair Kinesology perspective, when it comes to back injury prevention. There is too much emphasis placed on "weight", when weight is only a small facet of what causes back injury. The spine is like a concrete column, its pretty good at resisting compression forces(as evidenced by 900lb back squat records), it sucks profusely at resisting sheering forces. When you put stuff in that 5 to 7 range (think watch dial), youre putting a nice little fulcrum point to leverage sheering forces.

Now, the one thing in that 6 o'clock kit that gives me all kinds of heebees and jeebees is the headlamp. Just give it a new home, away from your spine!

For those that are interested, I have started to brainstorm my next mod for the belt.
The addition of a chest rig.
We will start with a Condor H harness:


Then we take the Maxpedition mini tactical chest rig:


We sew new buckles into the H harness, and just clip on the chest rig. No modification should be necessary to the chest rig, and it could still be used by itself. Just reattach the factory suspenders and go.
