INCH/Winter Kit (12/11/2010)
Finally repacked this for the winter months. I scrapped most of my other kit, as I needed them in the larger pack. Please review. I can take things out without a problem, but I do not have the finances to add/replace anything right now.

Blackhawk SOF Ruck, Marlin .22LR (if bugging out, not camping), Thermarest Ridgerest 3/4 pad, MSR Microzoid tent

6x8 blue tarp, Coleman Peak 1 sleeping bag, Thermarest Ridgerest 3/4, Microzoid with poles, 2 polyester blankets, camo trenchcoat with hood. set of camo tops/bottoms, pair of hiking shoes, 2 pair synthetic socks, cotton/poly blend thermal layer tops/bottoms, 3 sets long socks, (bag holds 3 pair underwear), pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt (cotton), hat, military goggles, cap, gloves, leather gloves, sweatshirt, rain suit.

Roughly 9-14 days food, 2 lighters, Peak 1 stove, 2 fuel canisters, pot with lid.

Marlin 60 with extra tin of ammo, shammy cloth, 50ft rope, bag for first aid gear, ear plugs, Excedrin, caffeine pills, Maglite with batteries, body glide, white container (bandaids, alcohol wipes, hand sanitizer, gauze), small red Altoids container (Benadryl, aspirin, Tylenol, vitamin C, ibuprofen), blue Altoids container (cotton balls in small Ziploc), 2 rolls TP, 1 bar soap, small camp towel, plastic trowel, large red Altoids container (fire starting materials), hiking pole, monocular, spare shoelaces, silver Maglite and batteries, cheap multitool, Sharpy, glue, fixed blade knife, hatchet.

3L Camelbak, 1.5L Nalgene, 3L Nalgene cantene, 1qt canteen, 1qt military canteen, bag for water filter, Katadyn water filter, 2.5 gallon water bag, 4x.5L unopened water bottles.
Thoughts:I would love to up the food to a week of MREs, 12000 cal of Datrex, and some other goodies (instead of 2/3 goodies).
A poncho and liner would be able to replace the tarp, 2 poly blankets, sweatshirt, trench coat, and rain suit.
I removed the cheap 1qt canteen. 11.5L capacity is a bit overkill for North Georgia.
I tested the sleeping bag for 10 minutes out in 35 degree weather. Didn't have enough time for a longer test, but it didn't have any cold spots. I would love to replace this with one I know the rating on...
The tent is only a 2.5-3 season tent. It should be easier to heat, over my 3 person 3 season tent, at least.
Wool socks when I can afford them.
Ruger 22/45 or Papoose would be great, so that I could keep it within the pack.
I want a medical bag that can connect to the ALICE connectors on the top-middle pocket, with more/better items.
Titanium pot (900ml?) when I can afford it.
300' of 550 cord instead of rope would be more useful.
Is there a better way to store water long-term, within a pack, and not use sealed containers? All of my other water containers are currently empty...
