NTX Roll Call (pics and bios)

Postby arrowolf » Fri Sep 10, 2010 2:54 pm

We have a lot of peoples on this subforum and I don't know most of you from Adam's House Cat. It's about time we had an intro thread. Here's the format:

Name
Job
Location
Skills/Interests
What you'd like to learn

Guess I get to start:

Name Kay, El Jefe of ZSC:19 and Wielder of the Spatula of Doom
Job Government Drone and Doggie Mama
Location Wise County
Skills I can do all sorts of things. I can shoot a little, build a fire with flint and steel most of the time, cook on a campfire and it still be edible, know some first aid. I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue (you really wanted to know that, didn't you?) I like red, can you tell?
What I'd like to learn welding
Every cloud has a silver lining. Except the mushroom-shaped ones which have a lining of Iridium and Strontium-90.

Here goes:
Name: Phil
Job: currently a Designer/Photographer, ex-Public Relations rep, ex-newspaper reporter/photographer, ex-Ford mechanic
Location: Fort Worth
Skills/Interests: If it's mechanical I can probably take it apart, put it back together, get all the parts in and it'll work. I can almost, almost get a fire started with a bow drill. :)
What you'd like to learn: Foraging (though it would probably be the end of me), how to do more with less, archery, gunsmithing, dressing game and tanning. The list is really much longer, but I'll spare you.

Thinkfree, are you going to the Denton campus? If so let me know what your schedule's like; I'm by there every day and I usually loiter at a nearby diner in the evenings.

I'm thinking so, but there is one thing pending that could possibly get in the way.
