This is a "by appointment", seat limited, "work experience".
It will cover Tree Topping, Climbing, Chipping, Cutting and Debris Removal.
Other topics include BBQing exotic meats and more.

We will be featuring a professional trimmer who will demo climbing gear, trimming/topping services, techniques and more.
There MAY be a chance to actually climb!

This will be a typical Northern Alliance fare, which means you trade your labor for knowledge and food.
Obviously we will have free liability waivers for everyone!
If you have PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - helmet, gloves, glasses), please bring them.
"Foamies" (hearing protection) are available for everyone.

Yes Zombie Prom sounds like a hell of a lot of fun. But unemployment does not allow for such travel. Oh well, maybe next year.

So my brother is supposedly doing this tree thing, but it remains to be confirmed. Fred, he told me he assumed it wasn't happening since you didn't send him an email, so I suggest you follow up on that if you want to make it happen.

OK, I'll bite. I could always learn something new.. Of course there's a good chance I would probably never need to know how its done, but in the future, just in case, I could watch and tell people what they're doing wrong. I'm pretty good at that.

Hey, you mentioned "labor" meaning work! I tend to avoid that as much as possible, something my waistline attests to.

Now if you also said, "Bring guns and we'll see who can saw trees in half with them" I might come along. But I'm adverse to tree climbing at my age.

Yes, we here in the Northern Alliance have the same meaning: Labor = Work.
Don't fear the waistline - We do this kind of thing every year with no measureable change in belt size.

As much as I enjoy shooting, I think the neighbors might not be keen on the idea of felling trees that way - it would be cool though!

I can bring mine as well. I will also bring some of my work gloves. I will just mark them with my ultraviolet secret squirrel logo and make sure I collect them all up before everyone leaves.

Lorified is doing Buffalo Burgers, Turkey and regular dogs, and getting the salads/sides together.
I spent the weekend pulling out some fallen branches/dead stuff (but there is Soooo much more) and mowing. I'll just have to get with you Saturday unless you want to bring the BBQ with you Sunday?
