Well I have bin having some thumping under 5mph and crazy high vibration at 60mph on the dot. So I pulled the front shaft, problem solved. :thumbup:

Yup I need one.

Inside where pictured is worn,cracked, obligated and probably some other shit. Tomorrow ill open it up and take more pictures. Getting one Wednesday from a friend and already have new universals .


Jeep back to 110% by Thursday .

Well had a front shock blow out on me today. Fucking potholes on I 95. Now my front passenger side saggs a bit ,but its still drivable. Looks like ill be putting my lift and new shocks on sooner then planned.

Hell ya, my buddy who's helping me with the lift has bin wanting to hold out for warmer weather. Well since he was with me today when it went he's all for doing it sooner.

Well its bin a wile since I got anything done. Today was sweet got the rear sway off and put some cheap ($45) lights from advanced auto on. Should hold me over tll I can get some PIAAS. I'll report back tonight on how they work.

Fired them up tonight and though not one of the trendy brands I'm very impressed. Great light for the money.

Can you get a picture of them shining down the road or something else flat? That'll give us a better idea of how well they light up.

Still haven't taken a better pic of the lights yet.

Got a little dirty today.

Up on the ramps looking for a couple sounds. Fixed the heat shield that was rattling me crazy. Still can't find the cause of a metal on metal clunk in the front drivers side wheel area. Happens almost every time I hit a bump. Almost sounds like something loose shifting bit I can't find shit.


Pulled my rear bumper ends tomorrow on my lunch break ill rough it up so I can bed line it tomorrow night.


Still haven't tackled the lift.

The clunking up front is probably either the shock or a bushing. Check out

Well my shocks are about shot but no problem there, got new ones in my lift kit about to go on. Bushings look good. After more inspection found the problem. Inside the coil there's a shock like thing I believe its a dampener, well there's a rubber bump stop on it. I'm missing the one on the driver side.

Well since I was sad I had to back out on wheeling this weekend. I treated myself to some K&N and started my "cold" air intake.

So far..
1. K&N cone filter.
1. Cone breather filter.
1. 60° angle.
2. Hose clamps.

Tomorrow after work ditch the rest of the air box, make a air dam and a bracket to hold it still.

Today got the first coat of Herculiner on the rear bumper and some of the side. Hopefully ill get the second coat on tonight and the rest of the side done on Monday.




Plan is to do the white trim and down.


Should look less clumpy after the second coat.

Well haven't got the lift on or the 31" tires yet to mpg is normal for a Jeep. Around 14mpg. I'm hoping the intake will help a little. As is left and go with bigger tires it will drop. My buddy gets about 7 with his 34s.

With the 4.0 and proper gears, you should still see at least double digit numbers. I had an old Mazda on 35's and I got 14mpg with a warmed over 4 cylinder.

Started wire wheeling my drums then remembered I have a bead blaster at work fuck this shit. Probably pop them off at lunch sometime this week for a blast and paint.

Took the boy and the jeep fishing today. What got me into Jeeps in the first place, it got me where i wanted to go.
