One Weapon, One Partner, One Theme Song
An unprovoked co-worker (and my next mark for recruitment) presented a scenario today during our safety meeting:
You look outside, and realize that the zombocalypse has begun. No details. You may chose one weapon, one partner, and one theme song. Real or fictional, Living or dead. What will it be?
I immediately went with crowbar for the weapon, and Attak from KMFDM as the theme song. But partner? After brief consideration, I settled on whoever the current President or leading political figure might be. She/he could provide intel, bargaining power, and brownie points if I could manage to keep them alive. But, someone pointed out that was really more of a hostage situation than a partnership, so I took it back and decided on John Locke.

Light saber. Batman. "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor".
Re: One Weapon, One Partner, One Theme Song
That's about the idea I had. But I think I'd trade Batman for one of the girls in Dawn of the Dead. I can't help repopulate the world with Batman. Non-compatible parts.Vulcan wrote:Light saber. Batman. "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor".

Zombie women love me for my Braaaains!
If the 'Zombie Apocalypse' started today, how would you know somebody wasn't just filming a movie?
A mind is a terrible thing to taste.

SKS, Lucy Liu, "Hungry Like The Wolf"
I almost pissed myself laughing at the "Hearts on Fire" thing. It brings to mind that epic Russian training montage. Well played.Zombies And SlimJims wrote:Spiked boxing gloves, Rocky Balboa, Hearts On Fire.

Oooh lets see.
My partner would be Riddick from Pitch Black, he would do all the ass kicking and I could just sit back and cover him with my Star Wars laser pistol/stun gun, while listening to Fear the Reaper.

Weapon: Dual Wield Browning Hipower 9mm (it takes one inventory slot, so it counts as one weapon
plus dual wield = 1000x cool and badass points)
Partner: Epic Beard Man (also possible substitute for weapon)
Soundtrack: Perpetuum Jazzile doing a semi-acapella cover of Toto's "Africa"

Weapon:
The phase rifle was the standard-issue directed energy weapon in use by Earth's MACO forces in the mid-22nd century. The weapon fired blue pulses of concentrated energy at its target and was capable of multiple settings. The observed power settings range from stun, to kill, to a high-power kill setting capable of blasting a perfectly symmetrical hole over an inch in diameter through a Human torso. http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Phase_rifle
Partner: My wife
Theme Song: Filter--Hey Man, Nice Shot
