Anyone planning on hitting Vision Con in Springfield, Mo next weekend? (Jan 22nd & 23rd) ?

ZS is going to be doing a seminar there on Friday and Saturday nights.

I'll be there. Don't let that stop anyone from coming though. :-)

Evening wear for Friday night is going to be a Steampunk style Airship Navigator's outfit to go with Crypto's Airship Captain outfit. Might have a Dieselpunk-esque outfit for Saturday night. Also thinking of a Steampunk Zombie Hunter outfit for DragonCon in September...

An odd dichotomy (tac gear & Steampunk) but it's a sci-fi con so whatever :D

Also, the local Tandy Leather store has a corset-making class this Wednesday night for anyone that's interested.

See you at VisionCon!

I would love to go, but I am kind of strapped for cash. I can bring an air mattress and split the cost of a room.

Maybe... maybe?

There's a closeup of her side pouch.

Here's me demonstrating my world-renowned pugilistic talents on a ruffian, while Pistol Pete loses his shit laughing in the background.

There's me being a jackass in someone elses booth after getting thoroughly drunk.

There's me and Hudson in the normal ZS tacticlol outfits, posting guard outside the seminar room.

VisionCon was pretty fun. I heard there was mention of a Steampunk Con here in St. Louis and I found this link: http://rose-society.org/7.html

I really want to go and check it out, maybe just for a few hours on one of the days. Anyone else interested? The Steampunk Zombie Hunter outfit was fun and interesting to make, so if we can get a number of people geared up like that it'd be cool 8)

A Steampunk ZS team? Interesting....

I assumed my "convention" days were over. I've an interest in Steampunk, and enjoyed the pics of you and Crypto.

I am planning on running the St. Louis half marathon on that Sunday, so I need to think about feasibility before committing.

Wow--Good Luck with the half marathon. This is still a way off, so I'm sure there will be some sort of plan. And remember--running is what you do when your plan fails :D

I have a long history of failed plans. Additionally, the running affords me the ability to carry more beer, and then drink it.
