I've had some Taurus weapons that I can say the same thing about. The PT1911 I had, the Model 92 and 99s I had (Beretta knock offs), and the very first Taurus I had, a .357 Magnum revolver, was very nice.
However... once again, my BIGGEST turn off is not the fact that my 11th weapon with them was a lemon (it happens), and not even as much the suck ass customer service rep...
But rather FOUR FUCKING TRIPS back to the factory...
What I started with was a BRAND NEW pistol...
What I ended up with was a gun made up of mix matched parts, that STILL didnt work.
ONE trip to the factory... I'll live with it. I'd even forgive two, maybe. Human error happens...
BUT FOUR trips back and STILL NOT WORKING????
Sorry... I'll pass on any more Taurus weapons.
