I also ordered a belt from chute43 and I couldn't be happier. The communication was excellent, payment was conducted easily via PayPal, and the shipping was prompt.

I will be doing more business with him in the future.

So, we post feedback on completed transactions, I get that part.

What about people that are trying to gouge others? Any feedback or action in their thread?

I, personally, get a little testy when I see someone with 4 posts that's trying to fuck ZSers over.

Maybe we could have a "Positive" and a "Negative" feedback thread? One thread for the good guys and one for the guys who screw around and take their time or outright rip people off? All it would require is another sticky at the top and a mod to look at them once in a while. It's not too difficult really, we did that at one of my other forums... We also had Trader ratings that came up in your info on the side wherever you posted.

What I was more thinking of was some new guy comes into the forum and posts something like: "CETME mags for sale, $10.00"

This is good except the market price of CETME mags is like $3.00. So this is some bloke who isn't really part of the community and is really just a member so he can try to sell some overpriced kit at the expense of fellow ZSers. Sure the buyer will get his CETME mags, but he's been taken advantage of with a jacked up price.

I dunno, maybe that guy bought his CETME mags from sportsmansguide and also got gypped for them. As long as the buyer and seller agree on a price, the buyer pays, and the seller ships, and everyone is happy, that's a solid deal. I dont want feedback to turn into the "Secret Shopper" thread where we all crap on people's good or bad pricing.

Now, a more clear cut case of needing a "WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY" thread appears to be this sale:

viewtopic.php?f=48&t=47069

That sale looks like it went south: and the buyer didn't receive his stuff after paying, and the seller has gone incommunicado. I'd watch out for that one, and be we wary of doing any business with liberty45 until he explains himself.

I agree w/ Crypto on just keeping it to who is good to go and who might be a problem.

About a month after I bought a Maxpedition Jumbo, I saw someone selling a used one for more that I paid for my new one. I sent him a PM telling him where I got mine and what I paid for it. He never responded, but did lower his price.

In general, I am wary of someone who signs up and imeaditly posts a list of things to sell. OTOH, Liberty45 has been quite active on the board, so YMMV.

I ordered a number of MOLLE pouches from Arch. He shipped everything promptly. Everything arrived, and was in great condition. I'm very happy and would recommend him.

I bought a set of Lasergrips for my Beretta from Heartless51 a couple months ago. Great to deal with.

ETA- Also bought a tact-vest with a holster and drop-leg platform from Jayhat last fall. Transaction went smoothly, items in condition as advertised.
