Zombie females.

Does anyone else notice in all the zombie movies a majority of the walking dead are guys? It's like the sausagefest of the undead or something. What happens to all the women, save for the few that happen to have a more prominent starring role. Then she's usually a hot zombie, not so rotted out body with conveniently torn clothing.

I always thought it was that most zombies can't walk well in high heel shoes,
so more of the male zombies end up on the streets.

Not zombies exactly but did you see Silent Hill, the scene in the hospital with the faceless nurses was awesome. Scary yet strangely still sexy. You'd think the directors would learn sex sells, so why not sexy zombies?

I think it has to do with people being more disturbed by seeing dead/hurt women than men. I mean if you watch a lot of movies, even when a chick does get killed or injured, it is rarely in the face, and the excpetions to that are small 'artistic' wounds in general. It just seems to me that the movie going populace is much more comfortable with the idea of dead males than females. The onlymovies thatbuck that trend are the ones going for that reaction. IMO

Or how about a child zombie. That little girl in the '04 Dawn of The Dead was creepy on a level that no other zombie has yet to achieve. Definately an "oh shit" moment after she drew her lips back (what was left of them) and hissed, just before she charged.

I'm going with the lack of females that show up for casting call, look at the percentage difference we have on ZS between the boys and girls.

And maybe it has something to do with the male zeds being "scarier" but I'm with Molon, that kid freaked the shit out of me. Though the fat lady was pretty funny.

hmmm female zombies i know were talkin movies but in the game left 4 dead it seems the females are smaller and quicker plus id like to add how funny it is to see me and my buddies running through a level and everyone stops when they hear the witch crying talk about a intimidating female zombie if ive ever saw one.
