I should've gone to sleep an hour ago, but I had to stay up to read this (yes, I'm a slow reader) I'm glad to actually read a full story in one go. If you write another, which I hope you do, I will be right there to read it

Very well done, man - I like how you focused on a specific period, instead of dealing with the grandiosity of the entire ZPAW. Made the story's passage much more real for me, and didn't get lost in the enormity of 'forever' as some of the zombie fic does that I read.

And being a nerd, totally enjoyed the ending - gives the rest of us hope, eh? Apparently I just need the world to end now so that I can save a hot girl and end up being happy for the rest of my life. :lol:

Great story. I know there's quite a few of us in ZS that can all-too-easily identify with the main character. Well written, well paced, and a good ending. Like pds84, I like that you focused more on a specific series of events, makes it easier to connect with the story and characters.

Interesting story line, I have to admit that my first thought was that there was no way they could keep Will from leaving, other than to lock him up and put a guard on him 24/7 if he was really set in leaving.
