i'm thinking either jeans or cargo pants with a long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, that looks "zombie survival campish". i don't even have any multicam so i guess i finally need to get some. will be bringing my chest rig and whatnot full of airsoft doodads. does anybody know how long we'll actually be on location? 7am to...?

I will wear either my ACU's or my woodland BDU's. However, if we can't have any lettering on them i will have to wear my ACU's (since my BDU's have TEXAS A&M and my name sewn on along with my University patches).

As far as airsoft guns go, i have an AR lookalike with the stock broken off a see-through 1911 and a shotgun.

We'll be there until around 2 pm but plan for later. I'll be in some OD pants and a black tank cuz that's about all I have w/o labels. And my vest is a hodge-podge of coyote/pseudo-marpat/dcu/od. Already looks like I took stuff off a bunch of different bodies. Or I can use the South African one I wore on the bugout at Kyle's. Depending on how hot it gets. I've got one airsoft pistol I'm gonna bust the orange off.

Pair of pliers and twist should work all of my orange pistol tips popped right off.

Hey Woody, how big a bribe did you promise the director for a speaking part?

I've decided I'm gonna need a new LBE for this event. Been thinking about it for a long time and now I have a good excuse reason. Just can't seem to make the molle vest I have work. Can't adjust the shoulders enough. It was obviously made for someone taller than me.

Got any ideas on the direction you want to go? Do you want to stay with a vest setup of would you want to try out a battle belt type setup? Plate Carrier? Chest rig?

I'm gonna try an operator-style vest. My current one is a zip-front. As for battle-belt, I have been known to load everything onto my pistol belt and rock on. It's got the pad attached so it functions more or less like a battle belt.

Got one similar to that. Thinking something more like this:

Ah a plate carrier. Lots of options on those. But keep in mind those are kind floppy and flimsy without body armor in them.

That one is pretty popular, affordable, comftrable, and comes in a wide range of colors.......even multicam

I'm kinda partial to HSGI gear cause I've got a buddy who works there but the TAG stuff is top notch also.

I feel that I have to step up and fulfill my ZSC:019 duties and help resolve this issue.

Why the fuck are you going to go buy a new vest for a movie extra part where everybody is supposed to look like a bunch of dirty nasty survivalists? I dont think you are going to be able to get it dirty enough in the next week. My opinion, go with what you have, and maybe roll in the dirt and mud before you get there.

You might not be smart enough not to take gear from a infectious zombie (zombies are always covered with biohazard goo), but she is, come back when you have a more logical argument.

I knew, soon as I saw you lurking on here.

Don't underestimate my capacity for fucking up shit. This would not be just something I use for one day. I've been thinking of trying a different style LBE. I've had my current vest for several months and have used it for a few field exercises. And I cannot get it adjusted to fit where it's not riding 2 inches above my shoulders. Last month I changed out rifles also from that MAK-90 I had at the Fry last year to a shiney new AR. So my whole setup is in transition right now. They just happened to coincide. May not get used that day at all if it's too fucking hot for wearing such things. It's supposed to be in the high 90's. I know, not Zombie Fry weather but I didn't use anything but a tricked out pistol belt that weekend either.

You calling my argument illogical when were discussing the possibility of having to kill a zombie to get it. The whole discussion is illogical.
