As far as becoming an "official" member of the chapter, though it's not required we do encourage members to sign up for membership through the main ZS website. You can find information here http://zombiehunters.org/members/. The cost is $15 a year, you get your name in green here on the forum, and you get a ZS card and ID number with your photo on it. I know a few of us local members actually proudly keep our cards in our wallets
The best part, though, about becoming a paid member, is knowing you're supporting the organization as a whole. Plus, I think it just looks good for the chapter for HQ to see us having paid members. We're considering coming up with an incentive program here to encourage paid members but that's still in the works.BUT paid membership is not a requirement for participating in the forum or coming out to meetings and events. We love and welcome anyone who wants to better their preparedness skills and help their communities (and who like to kick zombie ass, of course!). So whether you decide to become a paid member or not, again welcome to the ZSC 016!
