Okay enough of that. I tried to get a Chattavegas chapter started last year but there weren't enough man-hours to make it happen. It'd be nice to meet a few other ZSers withing driving distance if you don't mind me crashing the meeting. I live on the Ooltewah side of the 'noog (Chattanooga) so it should only take me about 1.75 to 2hrs to get there. That's what it usually takes to get to the Varsity, anyway and if I'm not mistaken you'll be awfully close to those wonderful chilli dogs and onion rings. And I don't think my wife has ever gotten to say what she'll have. Darned shame.

So we have decided that the our very first chapter open meeting will be held on Saturday Jan. 16. Time and Location still being determined based on participation. So were gauging everyone's interest and availiblity. Who goin'?

I'm in Auburn, GA 43 miles out of Atlanta (36 out of Athens lol) and as long as someone posts an exact address I don't mind where it is, though I know how to get to Atlantic Station easy. My dorm was right there.

The Prez will be in attendance.

My officer's and I are looking at other locations to meet at the moment. Check back on this thread by end of this week and we will have the place & times posted.

For this meeting and a movie, Atlantic Station seems to work great since everything is centralized. I'm researching meeting spaces and pricing right now so everyone has an idea of what it will cost (minus gas & babysitters) for this outing.

We are working on quite a few things at the moment so please try to be patient with us while we gets things ironed out.

I look forward to meeting those of you who can make this meeting. I also look forward to setting up meetings in other locations to meet those that aren't close to the Atlanta metro area.

One of our missions, as a state chapter, is to be able to facilitate everyone regardless of their geographical location in Georgia. That's what I intend to do. Also, meeting notes will be taken and posted on our ZS Google Docs for everyone to read. Pictures of events will be posted as well (location TBD).
