I'm mostly set up in my hotel room at Dragon Con.
One small change from the past couple of years, I'm not going to walk in the Saturday Morning Parade this year. Two years ago I had to search hard to find the two photographers that caught my image waving a Zombie Squad flag down Peachtree Street, and last year I saw nothing. Absolutely zilch. I can understand selective photos, but on the multiple video feeds I found showcasing "100% of the Dragon Con Parade, from start to finish", I was conveniently edited out, just after the Zombie Hunter Vehicle and before the American Red Cross bus.
Not that I'm opposed to participating in the parade in the future, last year just put a sour taste in my mouth. Perhaps carrying a banner spelling out the name and such could have helped (rather than the somewhat-ambiguous ZS logo), but then I'd need at least one more person to help hold it, and at this point that's just too late to ask.
That said, I'll be there enjoying the parade from the sidewalk. See you there!
