Flashlight reviews

Postby PistolPete » Thu Oct 15, 2009 11:00 pm

We'll use this thread to catalog the really good flashlight reviews we get on the boards. Now, I'm not expecting anything like the work they do on the candlepower forums, but we get some pretty good reviews here.

First up, Woods Walker's review of the Fenix TK20

Hey Pete,
the link is for a thread on the M1 Carbine, not the Fenix TK20

Here's a review. I bought a Fenix TK20 for my GHB and it kicks ass! I got it on eBay in olive green for $59 including shipping, batteries and a diffuser. It is much brighter than my Maglite 2D LED and absolutely clobbers my 3AA LED maglite.

I'm researching flashlights and came across a bunch more of Woods Walker's light reviews, which I shamelessly stole from Seanwins The Woods Walker Thread

Zebralight H50 Q5 review.

Leatherman S2 light review.

ZLED compass/LED light review.

Fenix L2D Q5 and E01 review. 56k warning.

Surefire P60L drop-in review.

[edited to remove headlamp reviews since there's another thread for those]

I did a very thorough review of the Fenix P3D Q5 Premium on the "Other Gear" forum that would be a good addition here.
