Do you have any contact information. I would like to participate in the fair with my store.

I got a call from the guy that organizes it, and was invited to show up with a certain group.
This group will not go there, so here is a chance to get some group out in the open.

Last year this fair was well visited and I would have been there as well, but I had an emergency I had to go to.

So if you have a plan, let me know.
It should involve preparedness, should be local, non profit, and help in some form.

And I will be happy to get you a table.

For the company, we should talk about this as well.

Is this the one at the LDS Church? I caught the end of it last year and felt I missed out, lots of good info there.

Where is the LDS Church?

The biggest one is at Southcrest, and the other one is on Frankfurt Ave.
The one on Frankfurt Ave is the inviting one.

But before we jump on this, we need to make a plan, because this is a great chance and I want to have it perfect.

And like I said I was invited to come with a different organization.

There are three kinds of people in the world….Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened. I seem to fall into that last group. Again. I didn't even know there WAS a Preparedness Fair last year, let alone that there was gonna be another one this year. When is it happening and where can the uninformed ( such as me ) get information about it? I have been to a couple in Denver and they were GREAT. Have been hoping there would be one here.
Old enough to know better….too stupid to keep my mouth shut about it.

Actually, these three groups are the ones that make it happen, the ones that talk about it but never move a finger, and the others that still have to decide if they are part of group one or group two.

Now the fair will be on March the 3rd from 10am until 3pm

This is the poster:
http://lubbockpreparednessfair.blogspot.com/

If you want to be there early, don't come before 10am, this year no visitor will be in before 10am.
If you are part of the fair, make sure you are there way before 10am as we might have a full parking lot.

We have some about 30 different booth inside and about 4 different things outside.
If you have questions, feel free to ask me, as I did some of the planning.

For people that like maps more than street addresses, here we go:

What of this fair would you be special interested in?
I am part of the organization team, so I might be able to get some information before we open.

What I can show you anyway, because I make the booth would be alternative energy production, fire prevention and I have someone that does kind of wilderness first aid.
Everything else could probably be arranged to be seen later on as well.

Let me know.

Lots of good info. I already built one of the dual chamber rocket stoves, am getting the materials for the PVC greenhouse, and am looking forward to starting a small scale aquaponics project in the back yard. If nothing else my daughter will be able to go fish whenever she wants.

The inside was the same as I remember it last year, though I would have liked to talk to the solar guy, but he was out when we passed by. I also tried breedloves food and while I didnt have much stored I will now be using it as a hand out food if the need ever arises.

If you need any help with the aquaponics thing, give me a shout!
