Those rovers are not cheap here in NY, if you can find one. What's it go for overthere?

How much do you want to spend ?

Here in Norfolk they seem to be every third car :D

Anything from scrap-value on up to a brand new Defender, plus after-market bits

Now you've got her, remember Landys are like collies.... They need to work to stay happy

Good job theres no such thing as a Trebuchet licence :D

I paid £1350 for it, will probably have to spend around £300 to get it through it's mot in june. :) (Well I could do it for less, but I might as well do it properly and I bought it as a rolling restoration, so I don't mind spending the money on it!) List of things it needs here - http://398r.net/doku.php?id=things_to_do

Drove it ~90 miles home, got up to 56mph on the motorway!! Driving it can only be described as "interesting". There are some more pics here - http://imgur.com/a/FAgxW

Added a decal as well.. :D

Nice, you've certainly got some work on your hands with one of them :)

I'd love a 110 TD5 Station Wagon personally but the damn things hold their value so well it would be cheaper to buy a series 2 Disco with a TD5.

By the way what's BOV?

Bug Out Vehicle

There are loads of acronyms on this site (there is a list of them somewhere around), but its a safe bet that any that begin BO are going to be Bug-Out gear/preps
BOVehicle
BOLocation
BOBag
etc

Also
BugInLocation
AreaOperations = where you live

Never be afraid to ask questions, its one way to learn (and hurts less then mistakes do )

Oh I'll ask questions alright :) Although learning the hard way we always tend to do regardless of preparation!
