I'm back! After having to have some time away, as the wife said that I was getting a bit obsessed about the prepping talk, she accused me of being paranoid lol!
Bless her ;)

You're only paranoid (love that song) till TSHTF at which point you go from paranoid to prepared. At this point it's a case of clearing your throat, pointing your finger and yelling at the top of your lungs "TOLD YA SO!!!" Plus you know what they say about being in the kingdom of the blind don't ya?

Prepping; Why prep? Well just think of it as a physical form of insurance. You insure your home "just in case" it gets robbed. Why not prep "just in case" the poop hits the propeller?

RANDOM STUFF
I'm 19, male. Looking to acquiring my shotgun and firearms licence next year after an Autumn/Winter of hunting with Air Rifles. Hopefully this will tech me the basic field craft and gun safety to allow safe handling. Hopefully I will be getting myself some experience with first aid, tracking, hunting and general survival skills should we ever have a SHTF scenario in the UK. There is plenty of countryside in Lincolnshire so this shouldn't be a problem. I'm a keen explorer and love to learn new, interesting things. Not keen on sitting in a classroom to do this though!

RANDOM STUFF
I'm 27 and married with two kids, ages 1 and 4. We're posted at RAF Croughton in Oxfordshire; we got to settle in and enjoy the place for all of three months before shipping out to Afghanistan... when I get home I'm looking forward to getting involved in the community and starting school part-time studying math and languages. I have a lot of odd hobbies, the craziest of them is bouldering/free climbing (I haven't hurt myself yet!) My nerdy hobbies include Warhammer 40k, pencil & paper RPGs, and M:tG. I also like to play the native american flute (although I'm not particularly good at it yet).
