Net Information

Postby Moose1247 » Tue Mar 06, 2012 12:30 pm

I am up and running on EchoLink in user mode (no RF hardware attached to my computer). What is the station callsign used for the nets?

It's called *U-Node*, no callsign. I guess it's one of the pre-made rooms that echolink runs. There is talk about getting a regular ZSARC node set up but that is still in the future.

Ok, thanks. So I just look for U-Node in the station list and connect to it, right?

On Echolink if you are in Explorer View:
Click on Node Types
Click on Conferences
Scroll down to *U-NODE* brdg -> IRLP ref 9669

Hope this helps :D

That helps a bunch, I found it. I also found it in index view before my last post but as it was red I thought I may have been looking at the wrong thing. So I guess anybody can be connected to that at any time, right? How do you conduct a net over a station that many different people or groups could be using at the same time?

Drop ins are welcome but traffic is a little sparse anyway.
