I'd just get one of these, then put a long corded octaplug in it. Attach the cord to the wall and ceiling with these:

When it's time to move, pull it all out and putty the holes.
OOPS, cinder block walls, I guess I'd use liquid nails to attach the cable and plug.

Yesterday it finally warmed up enough for me to re-etch and epoxy the floor. Pics coming soonish

Nope, maintenance folks suck at doing projects they really don't want to do.

Also the bad news is that they want me to move now, "to allow more families" to move in, but in reality they want it because they can charge them 1 1/2 times what I am paying. So for now this project is on hold again.

And officially this project is now dead... gotta move or I will face a $200+ a month rent increase. On the flip side, I will be saving $200 a month for now on.
