On my person I carry:
1) Emerson CQC7
2) Leatherman Wave
3) 2 gig USB Thumbdrive with medical info, and various other documents of importance.
4) Cell Phone
5) Handgun - Depending on where I will be I carry either a Kel-Tec P3AT, a Glock 17, or a NAA Mini Revolver in .22lr. On occasion I carry all 3.
6) SureFire G2

My laptop bag is almost like mini BOB and is normally with me. SAS Survival Manual, roll of duct tape, magnesium fire starter, matches, bic lighter, knife sharpener, K-Bar, space blanket, spare flashlight, Grundig Crank AM,FM,Shortwave Radio. Spare Mags for the Glock. I know I am forgetting something. Oh yeah...Laptop.

Some items may be left at home depending on the situation. I obviously dont carry all of it when at the pool :D That would get a few raised eyebrows.

Often when I go to WW I like to try and get very unique item combinations to get together to take to the register. My favorite so far, last winter I bought a dead-blow hammer, box of condoms, ski mask, and roll of duct tape.

Right this minute:
In pockets:
-key’s with a small LED flashlight
-small gerber lock blade folder
-4 gig thumb drive
Belt is a Comp-Tac kydex reinforced belt
On belt:
-pouch with a gerber multi tool and an element 80 lumen light
-Glock 26 in a Comp-Tac CTAC
Cell phone (black jack) in shirt breast pocket

Like Lerch, I have quite a bit in my laptop bag. Sometimes even a laptop! I spend more time pruning what’s in there to make sure I can still lug it around.

Duluth Trading makes good belt pouches and laptop/brief cases if you hadn’t heard of them.

You've got a better belt pouch than Batman.
As for my EDC: wallet, keys, cell phone. Sorry it's not more exciting.

My EDC:

Cell Phone
Mini Maglite
Gerber Multi-tool
Lighter of some sort
Thumb drive

I don't really have anything on the thumb drive that'd be useful though. It's on my keychain & I'm afraid I'd lose it or something with all my personal info on it  Anyone know of a good encryption program or something?

My EDC:

Leatherman c301 knife (2.8" blade, half-serrated)
Wallet
Money clip (separate from wallet)
A pen (it's a silver Cross something-or-other)
2 LED penlights: one white, one UV
Leatherman Wave multi-tool and full bit set
31" expandable baton
Cell phone (Nokia N95)
Keys
EDIT: a pair of 2GB USB flash drives

You will note the lack of more serious hardware. This is due to the fact that Ohio sucks and you need to be 21 even to touch a handgun. You will note also the absence of any disaster preparedness gear. This is due to the fact that I am new to the concept and is subject to change.

gart, dont keep condoms in your wallet.
the heat and compression of being next to your body can damage them, rendering them useless.

Those Ronson Lighters are pretty nice for the price aren't they?
I had one for a while but lost it...I stick to Bics these days as I always lose my "in my pocket all the time" lighters.

I had hoped my first post would be more grand than this one but all I felt like doing was necroposting, until now.

How does your springfield run? Any regular stoppages or hiccups? Thinking about a bare-bones 1911A1, but I'm not sure how to drop the cash on one. I've got enough guns as it is.
