Clearly the .22 is not for zombies. It is to shoot things that taste good with ketchup on them.

Congrats. Well done.

On topic:

Ammo inventory, created a spreadsheet to track (pretty impressed with myself that I now need a spreadsheet to track it all)
Organized it all in some new ammo cans
Ate a sandwich

At local gun show. First gun on the first table was a .308 Enfield at a price I could handle. Couldn't pass it up.

Went for a 3 mile hike with my brother. I carried a 50lb load, he carried a 25lb load. I think we did well, and once we got home, we tried a few fire starting techniques.

Today is a planned day off in my training program. After running 2 miles on Fiday and 3 yesterday, I am letting my legs and lungs rest up a bit, which is part of building up to run longer distances. I have 75 days left to prepare for the 13.1 mile mini-marathon on May 8th.

Went for a 2.8 mile hike with my wife. I carried a 13 pound ruck (about 1/3 of my regular load). After the hike, we vehicle recon'd some areas around our house that we rarely frequent.

Went on 2 walks totaling 5 miles, got to know a neighbor a bit better and offered to help if ever needed, checked the supermarket fliers and found matching coupons to use before Saturday. Would still like to clean out my camelbak bladders, but that may be tomorrow.

Straightened out the pantry so I can fit more items. Had to get rid of the huge can of yams though. (When did we get it, and WHY? none of us eat them...)
Repacked my gear from the weekend hike/indoor camping I did with my brother.

Ran 2.5 miles and lifted free weights until muscle failure. I will now crawl to the shower, and then slide into bed, and then pass out.

That is all.

I signed up for a twice a week Ninjitsu class. I went to one last week and it was pretty sweet. I think I'll be able to learn some awesome self defense skills there!

Officially in the army reserve as of this morning, headed to my unit in a few mins to see what's the go. not quite sure what to expect each week (it's a one-night-a-week gig) as I'm just a Recruit until I complete Basic, which will be around mid-year as I have to fit it around University
