Hamilton Meeting

Postby Horatio_Tyllis » Fri Dec 02, 2011 4:19 pm

I've heard there is some interest in doing a regular meeting in Hamilton or surrounding area. Does anyone have ideas for a location?

I'd be interested in that. I just bought a place in Brantford and am moving in January so Hamilton is a piece of cake for me.

Any suggestions on where would be good? Looking for a quiet bar atmosphere or a resteraunt i think, preferably cheap.

Now we just need a location.

Requirements: Indoors with space to accompany a decent number of people, quiet.

Bonuses: Food, Drink, Fun, Cheap, Good.

Once I get settled in, I wouldn't be adverse to having the odd meeting at my place in Brantford which is not far from Hamilton at all.

No ideas as to location, but I'd be interested too.

@mantis - set one up at your place on your move day; just don't tell anyone they'll be shlepping boxes :D

Not a bad idea. I'd go if it were a weekend.

Andy's Delight on Man St East is a great place. It's like a diner, the owners are Greek and make awesome food, and it's also a bar. Very casual... was one of my fav watering holes when I lived at Main and Sherman because it was stumbling distance to my house LOL well that and it was mellow, and the owners were great people... introduced me to Frangelica, and I don't go in for all that sweet liquor stuff, but it's pretty damn good! There's your typical Boston Pizzas and Kelseys and shit too, but I always preferred either low key mellow places, or really rough and tumble places (I have a long list of places I have been banned from LOL) when I wanted to let loose!

We have a suggestion of Leghorn's (905) 549-6000
1375 King St E
Hamilton, ON L8M

Apparently great wings and pizza, cheap, reasonably able to accomoade us, at least until the hamilton meeting gets big. I'm thinking tuesday or wednesday nights. Anyone have an opinion?

Sure. I'd be interested in that. I just moved to Brantford on friday (bought a new house!) and Hamilton is only 20 minutes or so down the highway.
