There's got to be a better way. I think security is necessary, maybe even highly necessary, but we need to really tread carefully and think of better ways, that is all I am suggesting. These are not the only ideas, or the end of all ideas, these are just some ideas. If ideas never evolved nothing would ever change or improve.

Just a heads up, we use them here in iraq. Yep shows ALL of your stuff. It wont of course pop up a "in color" regular pic of you naked, it will show up as kinda of a blueish gray image. Again I would just like to tell you that you can clearly see your junk. have a good day guys.

I am not at all embarrassed to be seen nude. It may not do anything for the viewer, but honestly if someone want to use a machine to look at my "junk" I could not care less. Go for it.

I have been through the scanners, my biggest complaint is that it adds time and gets a bit silly. We need a trusted traveler program and the tSA needs to focus more energy on screening suspicious people.

I still shake my head in disgust when I see airline pilots and copilots being screened. the absurdity of it just makes me sad at the stupidity. Other than determining that they are indeed aircrew on an authorized flight you really do not need to screen them for weapons. Anything more than that is an absolute waste of time. If they want to hijack or crash an airliner they do not need a weapon; they will simply fly the plane into whatever they want.

I should have done a google search for TSA+Search+Child before my last post. Too many reports to link to.

Initially I was simply insulted by this kind of degrading abuse of adult travelers, but children?

I came across something on youtube showing a TSA agent having a small boy take his shirt off, middle of the security station middle of the busy airport, and do his search. I can only guess for explosives, or jollies.

The stories go on and on and this is only one that gets under my skin. Including things that have happened to me and people I have traveled with. But a court has recently ruled that it is an acceptable practice to use the scanners even with the porn, and people were just gonna have to get used to being exposed because the TSA or whomever says it needs its eyes on your taint at all times to stop terrorism.

The only other option besides scanning your kids is to offer them up to be groped in the places you tell them a stranger should never touch them, by a stranger you tell them they should trust to touch them.... which would probably upset me enough as a parent on its own, but knowing how kids internalize a lot of trust issues until later in life, it puts me or any other guardian over a barrel with options.

Thanks! We'll offer cleaver sleeves as upgrade options. The "deluxe" model will also get an "odor transparent" patch of fabric in the back, so the TSA folks can get their noses right up in there to sniff for any explosives or contraband.
