What is your favorite beer OR what are you currently trying?

Had another two pints tonight. The bartender actually poured them correctly, which is to say the good man filled me glass to the rim and let it settle for a good spell before topping it off again.

And bullocks to you if you think it should be warm. I spend five months in the Emerald Isle, I did. And sure if the mates wouldn't have tossed it back in the barkeep's face if it 'twas served other than cold.

There's just no denying this is world-class draught, lads. Tis' mother's milk or I'm a liar.

Re: Heady Topper

Get to Vermont. They do some local distribution and you can pick up flats at the Alchemist.

I normally prefer higher gravity beverages.
Tonight we're drinking Dallas Blonde to show our support for local and regional beer.

At 15% alcohol this delicious beverage is apocalypse worthy, and suitable for long term hoarding.

Arrogant Bastard! You are not worthy!

God damned awesome micro brew. Be advised, not for the weak. For a beer it packs one hell of a punch. My brother an I killed a case of this on his birthday. The entire week following is just a blur.

I don't have a great selection to choose from, but I managed to pick up a case of Newcastle's seasonal "Werewolf" Blood Red Ale. Not bad.

I have been on a cider kick since doing an annual tour in England back.in 2011. Found several worth mentioning Koparberg pear cider light and refreshing, Angry Orchard crisp style tasty, Angry Orchard Apple ginger quite nice with grilled pork, Stella Artois cidre silly name tasty brew, Redds Apple ale suitable for a off weekend, and if I could find it stateside Gaymers was most excellent.
Have a nice day, inspite of it all.

Currently I'm finding Longboard Ale from Kona Brewing the top of my pops.
Shot 'em, now I'm gonna hang 'em, then I'm gonna burn 'em!
Damn Zombies. Can't ever be too dead to suit me.

Baxter Brewing Company Hayride Autumn ale.

I normally don't like autumn ales at all. Mostly because breweries phone in the effort by tossing a few pumpkin pie spices into the regular brew and calling it a day. This stuff is very lightly spiced. Mostly just a crisp, bitter ale in the old english tradition. Weighty, but with a hint of sweetness.

So basically it's a fermented, liquid metaphor for a cool fall day. That works for me.

Magic Hat #9 is favorite, followed by Murphy's Irish Stout!

Yes, palatable good alone or as part of a balanced meal. Now that the cold is finally abating I have been having their Summer Shandy.

Whoa! wait, wait...how can you not list Blackthorn? http://www.blackthorn.uk.com/ My buddy who is half-limey introduced me to the stuff and it is my 'big adult guy person man' go to cider when folks start talking about how cider is "like an apple version of Mike's Hard Lemonade" yes, someone actually said that to me out loud.
At 6% APV it is dryer than tart and stellar with grilled salmon...mmm need to have it with fish and chips.

I was only able to find this only once in my AO http://julianhardcider.biz/products-jul ... omb-cider/ and have been scouring the suburbs of Chicago to find it again; It was that good.

I guess I'm spoilt, I consider Blackthorn only a small step up from wrongbow. Aspall's being the next step up (Suffolk Cyder) and being the closest thing to real norfolk cider you'll get in the shops.

http://www.the-apple-shop.co.uk sell norfolk cider, the proper stuff, still and cloudy and about 7% at least. Sweet, medium or dry, it's all good, all delicious and I don't think they ship overseas as standard, but I'm sure they'd try.

The best west country cider I ever had was sold me in an old milk jug, and kept me going over 20+ miles of moorland.

My favorite is Spaten Oktoberfest. I also like Heineken and St. Pauli Girl lagers. The beer fridge has Heineken in it right now.

I'm really not a beer guy. I'm more of a vodka or gin tonic kinda guy plus a slew of other cocktails. Lately, I'm. appreciating whiskey. Particularly the Japanese ones since I'm in Japan every month.
I do drink beer on occasion and these are some that I drink.

San Miguel - Apple flavor (Philippines) Light beer with a fruity flavor.
Image

Red Horse (Philippines). Friends from the US and Canada always request these from me when I visit. 6.8% alcohol.
Image

Bear Beer - Extra Strong (Germany) 12% alcohol. Either you love it or you hate it.
Image

If I'm in North America (US or Canada), I usually have a Rolling Rock. Another love or hate beer for a lot of people
Image

When I'm in Canada, I get some CLIT! Coors Light Iced Tea that is.
Image

Butter Beer from the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London. It's non-alcoholic though.
