NFA's Bad Medicine (probably belongs in first aid section)

Post by Jamie » Sat Jan 19, 2008 5:17 pm

I've been studying with herbalists in Sri Lanka all day, and after almost 20 minutes of hard work, developed this spectacular medicinal tonic...

It can prevent/reverse zombism, stop bleeding, facilitate implemented interrogation, boost your immune system so much that you'll outlive your friends and loved ones by decades and die alone, and get you hammered with each and every treatment/dose...

Image

Here is a bottle of the finished infusion (no, not really...it's coke in the bottle...the infusion isn't finished infusing yet)...

Image

I'm making the stuff as a "party-favor" for anyone unbalanced enough to attend the NNY08WCT (check the link at the bottom of this post to get past the stupid acronym)...

Image

The list of ingredients includes:
1) Ridiculously cheap vodka from pop's winery (my online source for booze)...some insane (likely drunk) liquor executive thought that blue vodka would sell, and when it didn't pop's sold it to me for almost nothing
2) Lots of garlic
3) Lots of habanero peppers

Image

I used the tools above to reduce the solid ingredients to a paste...a process which filled my kitchen with sufficient habanero oils to hurt my eyes and lungs just enough to make me mock Erik a bit for his "tests" while I gently cried and coughed...

Image

I put the combined garlic/pepper paste and blue vodka into a bourbon bottle that I let some barfly living down by the river empty prior to making the "Bad Medicine" in exchange for gently mixing the contents of the refilled bottle every 47 minutes until Groundhog Day...

Yes, as it turns out, I do have too much time on my hands...my son has a stomach bug, so we're inside today waiting for leakage from both ends to subside...and no, I will not be giving him any of this stuff to speed him on his way to recover (or certain death, as the case may be)...

NFA you kick ass!

I want a one! I will pay you or trade you something. I won't touch the stuff that comes in the bottle, I'm more interested in the bottle itself. Very cool. :D

That's pretty cool... what's strange is that all those items have some herblistic (is that a fracking word?) qualities to them. Garlic is a age old antibiotic, OC used for blood thinners, vodka.. well - to make ugly girls look pretty enough to take home...

Win for everyone.

Why is that strange? That's why I made it...it will definitely be useful as a medicinal tonic...people could treat wounds with it ("this may sting a bit...") as well as taken internally to bolster the immune system and help stave off zombism...

I'm anxious to have a guinea pig to try this crap during the NNY08WCT...

This is brilliant!

Good call on using safety equipment when handling the habaneros. They are delicious, but are definitely no joke when it comes to getting the oil on your skin or in your eyes. I once had to use brake cleaner to get it off my fingertips.

FWIW, I'd buy a bottle of this stuff...

Review #1

Pros:
It's a great substitute for coffee in the morning and will really wake you up
It will keep you alive in -15 degree weather
It adds a great flavor to BBQ'd foods like steak or rabbit stew
You can smell it on a person over 5 feet away if you're downwind
People who drink it make funny faces, and funny faces make me laugh.

Cons:
What burns going in, burns going out...
You are temporarily blinded due to tearing up (happens at least twice per shot, see previous)

Damn! That's a hell of a drink!
