Hey Dubs, don't mind shotgunner, some people have no etiquette.

I'm getting ready to buy a hammock from you guys and I just wanted to clear something up.

hennessyhammock.com lists the weight limit for the scout at 150lbs, but PlanB lists it at 200lbs and I know some bigger guys with scouts. I'm only 5.5 feet tall so the scout would be perfect for me, but I'm a 170lb powerlifter and I often camp with a 25lb dog, so I just wanted to make sure we would be good.

Skeet thanks for pointing that out, I am wondering if they changed it. I know I copied all the info from their website when I added their product line, And all the other info is right for the scout. I will talk to them today and see what the deal is.

I have a friend that uses the scout when we go out and he is every bit of 190#

Now Don't hold me liable if that don't work out for you, I am just offering up real world experience. I think they go quite a bit to the safe side with their weight ratings.
