Absolutely sick build. I think I might have to use this as an inspiration in the future. Thanks for sharing - can't wait to see your additions!

Srdocker,

you said you got this from the gub'ment liquidation auctions? I have been looking at the site a lot lately, and there are a few that are local to me that start up and run, no bids on them, so I am thinking it might be worth snaking one of them. Hell if I can get it for $500 or so even if it craps out I can part it for more than that!

If my truck looks anything like the one you have going I will be STOKED!

make sure you do that end user certificate license thing before you bid. i have heard some people have waited up to 6 months to get theirs.

I think I did that already, I'll have to go double check to make sure.

thanks for the compliments.

the bidding will shoot up. most bids start tuesday and end thursday at 5est time. all start at 150$ and work there way up.

about the end use cert. or EUC they do take forever for your first one and sometimes quicker. sometimes your first one will take 5 days...its a crap shoot i waiting 2 months for my first one with my trailer.

getting things lined up for a constant supply of oil. say 200gal every 3 weeks...oh its beautiful muahahha. also looking for a 12v pump. so i can mount a pump directly to the truck just for transfering and not pushing through filters. that way i can leave my barrel pump and filter system at the fuel point.

also going to be adding my 4runner seats soon and 3 more jerry cans. 1 on the passenger side and 1 on each rear mudflap. 1 of the rear mud flap cans will be for 5gal of distilled water.

the 50gal aux tank *standard tank for deuce just going to add another to the driver side* should be put on sept 24th BUT not wired in yet. should be fairly simple to add.

Dude, that is one AWSOME TRUCK. I keep thinking about getting one now and restoring/customizing one with my dad. Especially since he has had several years working on them and I think it would be one fun project. Thanks for sharing and keep use updated on the build.

I used a 20$ harbor freight spray gun. and did about 3 coats. did very minor prep. its getting repainted next spring and done really well. almost all the mods should be on and done by then. so i can pick what i want black or green. its a walmart roll on bedliner which sucks. i dont know if it was my roll job or just the product sucked. im going to have it pro done by a local line x place. the inside of the cab and the bed again. also will line x the front bumper. the cab rack. the steps to get into the cab. and maybe inside the front wheel wells and under the bed. i want this truck to be even more rugged!

If you said so I missed it but do you have a compressor tank for air tools? Also, having welded on pipe brakets that you could use for cammo poles to support military cammo netting would provide instant shade or with a tarp, rain protection. I'd also have a 1gallon shop vac for cleaning. Just a thought.

Again, cool build. I hate you. :D
