Here is my 1989 4Runner. It's not quite finished, so I had to Photoshop a little.

My Yamaha XT225 dual sport--think street legal dirt bike. Weighing in at only 240lbs, its the lightest bike in it's class. Also, it has six speeds, is air cooled, and can be outfitted with both an electric and kick start. Plus, it is easy as hell to mount ammo cans to. Now, I don't think I need a bug out vehicle as much as I need a "disaster just struck, and I need to get home as quick as possible, but the roads are jammed up, so I might have to ride up on the sidewalk or someone's lawn" vehicle. Even more than that, I need a "drive around the city and get good gas mileage" vehicle. So, my bike does those things for me...Maybe someday I'll get a Jeep ;)

Not quite a jeep,

Vid was taken the same day I had true duals installed.

Now that the pipes have broken in it's a little too loud & mean for a lincoln IMO.
But a DOHC 4.6 needs to be able to exhale damnit!

It might have the honor of becoming a fleet vehicle someday, but I probably wont be covering it in vinyl siding.
Nevermind me, I'm just here for the firearms forum.

Im proud to show off my BOV; meet Reaper-1, an 1987 dodge ram50

So far ive manged to convert the engine of R-1 to run on e85 ^^
it sports a flat head 4cyl. mitsubishi made engine and a weber carburetor.
although it hasnt been tuned since i lived in florida it still gets a good 40mpg, and holds about 12 gallons. Future modifications include a shell for the back, an external gastank (50+ gallons), and a push bar for the front.

My fleet

Post by Makarov » Thu Aug 23, 2007 10:56 am

Here's my BOV fleet at the moment(one can see that I live in a city...)
94 Opel Astra(that's Vauxhall for the Queens subjects  ), a 2004 CPI 45cc scooter and my brand new $66 bike(the last one from a sale, so I got it at half price of the sale price) I stripped my old bike of parts and added them, making it a good deal indeed.

My BOV fleet. A 95 Opel(that's Vauxhall for you brits) Astra, a 2004 CPI 45 cc scooter and my new $66 bike(bought the last one from a big sale and got a 50% discount on the sale price). It was than cheaper than getting new tubes and tires from my old bike... I've reused some parts from my old bike, making it a really good deal.

A few current pics. I'm still waiting my vinyl "ZS 0058" decals for the front fender below the turn signal and in the rear under the tail light. The guy said he mailed them yesterday, so we'll see if they're here by Monday.

Anyhow, on to the BoV pr0n:

I finally got around to putting my vinyl decals on. I've had them sitting here for over a month and just remembered to take them outside when I went out.

Here's my poser pics. 8)

It needs a little bit of work, and I can't find anybody that wants to help with it without trying to extract $$$$ from me. However, it will run on anything greasy that you can get into the tank, and gets roughly 30mpg, with a 23 gallon tank, you do the math.
