Oto Melara R 2.5 Gorgona

I think I may need a couple of these: Oto Melara R 2.5 Gorgona

It's ugly, pretty impractical for my actual needs, and I love it. Permanent 4x4, armored against small arms, run flat tires, turbo diesel, amphibious, and optional remote control turret. What's not to love as a ZPAW vehicle? :awesome:

Having daily driven a few <100HP diesels, I can tell you its not all its cracked up to be. Also from the chart its supercharged, not turbo'd. Couldn't say if that is better or worse, but I'd be willing to find out; assume less lag but I'm told they do rob some HP as well.

but if they had a wagon version I'd have a hard time saying no as well.

Okay, it's only a 95hp diesel, but I'm not planning to run the Indy 500 in it either. It's going to have good torque and should be able to handle a small off-road trailer with the right hitch, which would make it pretty versatile.

Looks like the undercarriage at the extreme front and rear ends of the vehicle is designed to improve approach and departure angles.

Oh I meant that if an AMC Eagle were armored, it'd be this... Not that I'm aware of a tactical eagle, but it'd be sick if there were.

But... Since the AMC Eagle shares much of the guts with the early Jeep YJ's, the armored Jeeps in Jurassic Park 2 would be a good indication of style cues.

Both for that and for its amphibious capabilities.

That's right! Clearly inspired by 007's amphibious Lotus Esprit:

There's this bit in the back of my brain that always wants the impractical things.

It's screaming like a drunken death-metal band for this.
