Yep. I have one on my aid bag. You never know when you might end up out in the middle no where and need air support. :)

"Medivac Signalling Devices"

She'd figure it out REAL fast. Oh, btw, she LOVED the P-89 as "Zombie Preventative Medicine" - said it sounded like something *I* would do!

Guess now that I've posted in here, I gotta talk smack and show off my BTC (Bathroom Trauma Center).

So be it.

When you find yourself all alone and wounded in that zombie-infested area, shivering in fear, you will WISH I were close enough to drag you into the BTC and patch you up. Upon viewing my BTC, there will be weeping, wailing, and GNASHING OF TEETH when you realize you should all go back and re-read your Boy Scout handbooks! You will DREAM of some day being able to emulate ME!

Abandon hope, all ye who read on here.....

It's also useful for taking the other FAK throwdown people out of the competition. In fact, every one of my competitors, realizing how vastly inferior their FAKS were to mine, have already shamefully requested I use my kit to end their dishonor.

Dude, your boo-boo kit doesn't even have a dedicated FAK-bag... So I suggest you go drown yourself in your water-storage drums

So, Gunny. Nice attempt. I'll see your:

Image
Image

And Raise you:

Image
Image

Gana, your head's in the right place!

Image

However, I am the Pancho Villa of Gauze!

Image

Jim, I see you posted a picture of a vehicle. You're not in it- I could post pics of blackhawks and Chinoks all day without me in them, doesnt mean a damn thing.

Image

Instead I'll just post pics of my vehicle, with me in the picture. (When in operation it comes with at least three carbines, and a medium duty or heavy duty machine gun., which would knock your little birdy out of the sky.)

Image

And now for good measure:

Doc Simon wrote:Now it's time for my WALK bag.
http://www.narescue.com/Product1.aspx?SID=1&Product_ID=42

I have one of these attached to each vehicle that we own. The walk bag also contains these litters:
http://www.narescue.com/Talon-II-Model-81C--P47C0.aspx

Alright, now here are my pics. I have no say so in how these are packed but I will still describe the layout as best I can.

Closed:
Image
(You may notice that the pockets arent very full, that is because I just got a lot of my supplies in and took pictures as I stocked this one) You'll notice three compartments on the front and then two on each side. The back has two shoulder straps so this can be worn like a back pack.

Open:
Image
Top Left side compartment:
1 Abdominal ETD, that's right a huge fucking ETD
2 Sam Splints

Bottom leftside compartment:
Casulty Blanket

Top Middle compartment:
2 Adult NPAs
2 Surgi-lube
2 18ga catheters
2 14ga 3.25" decompression cathaters
Unknown number of petroleum gauze

Middle middle compartment:
1 roll 3" tape
2 Rolls 1" tape
some 4x4s
4 CATs
1 Roll coban

Bottom Middle Compartment:
Gloves
2 Lrg ETD
2 Rolls Kerlix

Top right and left both have:
1000 ML of NS and complete sticking kit.
(For some reason I cant get ahold of saline locks so they dont have them)

Doc Simon wrote:Alright, here is my stomp II bag. Dum DUm DUMMMMMM!

The back:
Image
As you can see, the flag is facing the correct way, my name is on it, there is the ZS Medic patch, and a highspeed medical patch.

Turn it to the side and you get this:
Image
Not too much, other than it becomes obvious this bag is loaded to the max that it can be. Very very full.

Turn to the other side and you get:
Image
Two sets of shears. Why carry one set when two will fit?
Duct tape
And there is a C-collar on front that you couldn't see in the front pic

Then lets open the front flap:
Image
I call the front flap the emergency flap. Almost everything I need for emergency medicine should be located here. This is kind of the over view. On the set of loops closest to the camera I have from left to right:
1 totally random surgilube left from whoever had this bag before that I've never taken out:
1 Ink Pen
1 OPA
2 Orange Chem Lights
1 Sharps shuttle
2 PR Gloves
2 NPA kits

Side view:
Image
1st section:
3 ACE Wraps
2nd section
3 ETD
3rd Section
3 ETD
4th Section
2 Rolls 3" Tape
2 Hemcon

Alright, the other side of my emergnecy flap:
Image
In the loops from left to right:
Velket with 3 Rolls of 1" tape
1 SOFT-T TQ
2 CAT TQs
2 Rolls Kerlix
3 Compressed gauze
3 Compressed gauze
3 Compressed gauze
3 Compressed gauze
In the zipper under the loops:
1 Roll Coban
3 6" Ace Wraps

In the zipper under that:
Image
1 BP Cuff
1 Stethiscope

Also on the emergency flap there are two pockets:
Image
First pocket:
1 Fistfull of gloves
1 Complete IV Kit w/ hextend
Second pocket:
1 KING LT
1 Extra NPA
2 14ga Decompression Cathaters
1 ACS w/ super glue (We can't get the BCS or new ACS yet)
1 Pocket Mask

A note on my IV kits.
Image
Image
This is how I keep my IVs.
2 18ga cathathers (for NS or LR it is 1 14ga and 1 18 ga, soldier's veins can usually handle a 14)
2 prep pads
2 gloves
1 tubing set
1 Tegaderm
1 2x2 (or 4x4)
1 constricting band
1 Saline Lock/Heplock
You can see in these pics that when I am really trying to help myself out I put tape on all the packaging to assist in opening. Also you'll notice that I dont have to tear into the IV kit, all the supplies can be opened and removed when the are still bundeled together. Thus keeping my shit in one place.

That's about it for the emergency flap. This is my nonemergency side.

Just peeking in the top:
Image

And Open:
Image
Left to right:
Advanced Equipment/excess pocket
IV Pocket
Middle fold
Med excess pocket
Books pocket
Meds
BVM and pressure infuser

And now the pictures

Advanced Equipment/Excess Pocket
Image
With the EENT kit removed:
Image
My advanced pocket includes:
EENT Kit (Pictued next)
1 Laryngoscope handle
2 Laryngescope blades
2 Endotracheal Tubes
5 Scalples
2 14ga decompression needles.
1 Shears

The EENT Kit Opened:
Image
This set up works with several attachments:
Image
That light is also the one for my Laryngescope:
Image
Image

Then there is the excess pocket in this same flap:
Image
It has various ammounts of:
18ga IV Catheters
Tegaderms
2x2s
Field Medical Cards
Gloves

This is the IV pocket, and then the zipper on the meds excess pocket:
Image
2 1000ML Bags of NS in complete kits as described earlier

The outter zipper on the meds excess pocket contains
4 Rolls 1" Tape
5 Packets of Rehydration salt

Notice the thing with the blue cloth on top? It comes out/is unattached to the bag. Here it is pulled out and opened:
Image
Extra medications (To respply the kit later pictured)
Thermometer
Moleskin
Blank Medical Record Papers ( AKA 'SF-600" )

Alright this is the books, meds, and BVM section:
Image
(With books and Meds removed so you can see the pockets)
Image

Here is what I keep in the books pocket:
Image
2 Sam splints
1 Note Pad
1 Combat Medic Field Reference
1 Unit Soap Notes Quick Reference

My meds:
Image
(I have the bag in the truck right now and I am too lazy to get it, I will edit this later for the complete list:
Top row, left to right:
Loperimide (Immodium)
Dicyclomine
Keflex
Benadryl
Psudophed
2nd Row, left to right:
Unknown
Albuterol
Motrin
Tylenol
2rd Row, left to right
Unknown
Unknown
Pill Bags
Rolaids
Clariton

And then the last and final pocket:
Image
1 BVM w/ mask
1 Pressure Infuser

Are we ready to vote yet? Bitches...
