Sheesh, is this what happens around here while I'm asleep?

I was wondering why I was having a nightmare about kerlix, Texas and crying sheep.

Holy cow! I was going to throw in my backpack first aid kit, but now I know it's nothing but a pathetic offering compared to what I'm going to see in this thread! Assuming Doc or Gunny actually post something.

I'm with you on this one Erik. Mine is pretty small compared to most of these, but at least it'll give the field some depth because we're not all certified EMTs, Docs, etc.

I have my lil' FAK but most of my expertise is in recording your dying words rather than keeping you from kicking the bucket.

Who's a bigger pussy, someone that comes to a fight with their A game and gets their shit ruined, or someone who avoids a fight all together and gets their shit ruined. Fuck you, read the first two rules of the first aid throwdown.

I believe what Doc was alluding to was the former, rather than the latter

Just as an aside, any thoughts on having two different categories involved? Sort of like a "Pro-Am" in golf, etc? You know, we all post on here, then a victor is judged from those who are professionals (and those who pretend to be), and then a victor from the rest of us mortals?
Just a thought...

That's right bitches, it's Gunny's turn to throw down and kick all of yall's asses.

Doc Simon always says, "You need 2 things in your aid kit...Kerlix and Tape!"

Well, if I take Doc at his word, then I have devised the absolute perfect IFAK.

With this kit I can take care of literally hundreds of casualties. My IFAK weighs in at exactly 4 pounds and is self contained.

And now...for the money shots.

Ya'll ready for this?

Here she is.

But wait....what's inside???

Kerlix...hundreds of 'em.

But wait...what else is there?

Image
A tactical tape roll. Enough tape to tape up a whole platoon and still have some to hang your x-mas ornaments.

Image
Note the patented tactical attachment method.

Now, an IFAK of this nature costs, hundreds, even thousands of pesos to build and maintain. In light of this I've decided to pack some heavy weaponry to defend my IFAK.

Lastly, I've hiked this pack through at least one bathroom and hallway and it carries like a dream. Behold:
