Getting the extra was something I planned on from the start. I hate doing things halfway, so that was one incentive. Not having to worry if I strayed out of the general portion of the bands was another. The biggest incentive though was because the wife and I plan to do some traveling overseas, and only extra class gets full reciprocal privileges in many places.

Mr. NoAm & I both ACED our Tests!
We should have call signs as early as 11 p.m. tonight, we were told.
This did have us try the General Test, which we bombed.
I think I am least going to be going to the General Level classes, starting next Thursday.

I am so thrilled! Now we just have to get the Icom hooked up in the Tahoe and start working on a base station, for the house!

Don't forget to visit QRZ.com (after they update their database - should be done by this time tomorrow) and claim the pages with your calls and setup passwords.

Just click on my sig banner if you want to see how a QRZ page can look. You're free to customize them rather extensively too.

Mr. NoAm & I are taking our General tests tomorrow night.
Animal sacrifices may be required for this one...................................
J/K, I am sure we will do fine, just a lil cross-eyed at the moment.

You'll both do fine! If you want to really be cross eyed, take a stab at the extra test after you pass yours. I was like, W.T.F? when I first saw it.
