Eastern Washington Meet and Greet

Postby sigboy40 » Thu Aug 02, 2012 11:44 pm

Who: All residents of Eastern Washingotn and Northern Idaho
What: Picnic and BBQ
When: Sunday August 12th 2pm
Where:Camp CAro in Dishman Hills http://www.dhnaa.org/
Why: Any reason to get in the woods

Its that time again, lets get together in August! We will be having a small get together, some simple food, a short hike on a groomed trail, and an unofficial first aid class to round out the day.

I know that notice is a bit short, and I apologize. I started a new job and it has been sucking at my free time. However, I would like to get this in before the end of summer.

Whos Interested?

I'm not sure how long I can stay, but I'll definitely make a cameo.

I appreciate the invite, and would love to come, but it's unlikely. Way too busy.

I'm also looking at a group day hike/challenge course either Oct 6 or 7th, depending on what works for the most people.

Just show them you spiffy Chapter 19 patch. Then everyone will want to become a chapter to get cool stuff like that.

For those of you showing up tomorrow, pull up into the upper parking lot(by the park). Look for a burgundy Dodge pick up with a large ZS sticker. You cant miss it, I promise.

Yes, I would. But then I've worked in a mail facility when I was with CBP. Glad our door only had access from our side.

Yes, a good time was had by all.

Future meetings will include a public land shooting trip in September.

October will be a day hike out by Bowl and Pitcher, with practical training and events, probably on the 7th.

Hollow point was asked via text to inseminate a lesbian, does that count?

I need to find the public shooting area in Liberty Lake, after I do that we can decide on dates. What works for you?

Is there one in Liberty Lake? I've never heard of it. I'll ask around. Except for a motorcycle ride on the 15th, I am wide-open.

The only range I can find around Liberty Lake is a skeet range. I suspect they would come unglued if our horde showed up with a truckload of centerfire rifles.

Unless someone can suggest someplace else or completely private, I sadly think these are our options:
1. Mica ($DNK)
2. CdA Rifle club ($15 non-members)
3. Spokane Rifle club ($DNK)

We could always do the public area out by nine mile. I wanted to avoid it because it makes ang drive for the Idaho members.

Is this one of those things like on craigslist to tell us your not a spammer? LOL....I have never heard of such a place, but I'm new here.

How does everybody feel about a shooting trip on Sept 29th? We can hit public land out by nine mile.

Also, the tin foil hat expo is on the 30th.
