I'd like to learn more about this... It seems to be one of those skills that can never remember. Especially if the knots are hammock related.

Surge, do you still have some of that milspec webbing? Can I buy some from you?

I could do a little intro on some of the self defense concepts I've been studying recently. If anyone is interested... Depending on the level of interest I can talk to anything from non-verbal, verbal, all the way to a couple hands-on techniques.
Does your BOB at least have: water, basic tools, fire, food, first-aid kit, and shelter?

I'll set up a station. I'll see if NYKH will give me a hand.

I will look and see if I have anymore of it bro. I think me and you used all of it.

And I would like to learn some of what ya know. I plan on shooting, but I wanna learn from other folks some new skills as well.

I'd be up for learning pretty much any new skill. I learned Judo when I was 6 years old, but haven't practiced it in 39 years. Knots would be good. Speaking for me, I'd love to see the various "ways to make a fire" demonstrated, ie : the 9v battery method, the flashlight method-ways to make a fire WITHOUT matches or a cigarette lighter (or gasoline)

Don't worry. I'm sure there will be enough firesteel and magnesium there to burn down the state of Virginia. :P

Looks like I might have 3 more people coming with me.

Stimpy, have you called The Cove yet? Maybe we should ask them about one of the larger flatter camping areas. I'm not sure if it was Camp 6 or Camp 8 that was that big flat field all the way in the back. And hopefully that will prevent any obnoxious neighbors too.
