I've played with the Scadians some, but it's been a while.
I was a member of The Free Companions (a steel fighting group) back in the day, but that's been years ago. I hear they're getting back together again, but finding time is a bitch.

Anyway it was nice to meet everyone face to face. From wilo to schulatt,surge and his girl. I had a good time I hope everyone else did. Now we have to get this chapter off the ground and running.

It was good to be able to put faces to some names from the board. A shame that schedule conflicts and such kept some folks from being able to attend, but I think we got some good groundwork laid.
Now it's a matter of just following up and getting some momentum going. Hopefully we can get schedules arranged more conveniently for the next meet so we can get more folks involved and really get this thing off the ground and flying.

Had a good time. Good to meet new people!

Still waiting on the reply for the new Chapter paperwork. As soon as I get something in the ol inbox, I will let everyone know.


If anyone that was not at the meeting would like to chime in about ideas for meeting sites, charity/fund raisers, and the like, hit us up here or PM me. That way we can try and get a lot more people involved, plan just a little better so that more people can come out. ect, ect.

There is also a campng trip in the works for April timeframe for the current VA chapter. It will be a camp and shoot at the Cove in Winchester. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on that. Keep an out in the Meeting room for when that is posted.
