someone from Albert lea (1hour south) just started a post looking to setup a range day actually.

I live in St Cloud (60miles northwest) But I'm in the cities 2-3 times a week.

I wouldn't mind, Just recently moved back to MN. I live in Rochester.

So far we have
St cloud (72m north of the cities)
Rochester (60 mile south east)
Albert Lea (60 miles south)
The Cities themselves
and Black hills ish wisconsin? (200 miles that way >--->)
All distances are in SWAG format.

I'm thinking so. Like i said in other post, last time we tried this we planned so far out it was bust.

it's doable for me. if it were something like 12/5 and somewhere suburban stripmallish. it's a downright pain in the butt to park my pick up anywhere in downtown area.

last couple of days have been perfect coffee weather!

Cant get down to the cities much and really dont want to, but we're up here in Bemidji. There are some other lurkers from the Crookston, EGF, Grand Forks, and Duluth stalking around here.

I would be down to meet up , but I live downtown Mpls and don't get out of the city too often . That and I work evening/nights. Traveling out to burb-land is a bit problematic.

I think in the interest of getting my crap together i'm not gonna make it this month. been crazy with life lately and prep fail slapping me in the face left and right for the last two months. getting better slowly though.

either way if there ends up being a january or February coffee date i'd be interested.

hey guys, i just want to say i've visited this site before, but now that i see theres a minnesota group getting going i had to join, if you want to set up a range day or something theres a couple places around the twin cities area to go. as for scheduling i would be a weekend/afternoon-evening/twin cities metro somewhere/not willing to carpool/jan or feb.

thursday through sunday would be fine for me.
afternoon or evening.
southern half of the twin cities would be best due to driving up from Rochester.
depends on location. if someone else from Rochester would want to ride up and split gas in either their car or my truck (warning you now, it'll be $40 total in gas for a round trip from Rochester to most parts of the cities)
February would be best for me.

in fact, if timed correctly and on a friday afternoon, i might be able to make the gathering after landing at MSP from a work trip and just cruise over from long term parking after i dig my truck out.

shooting range time would be nice, but not essential for me. personally after living in AZ (the land where almost everyone has a gun and only some can handle it) i am a bit skiddish of being around new people armed.

personally just a meet up somewhere public for coffee and general prep/guns/zombie related BSing sounds perfect for me.
