Hey folks, has anyone taken a class with Michael Swisher of Suarez International in Lafayette? http://www.suarezinternationalstore.com/instructor-michaelswisher.aspx

I'm wanting to take a rifle class and I hear a lot of people talk shit about SI in general, but he seems like a pretty good guy and well suited to my temperment, at least as far as I can tell from his posts on INGO.

Also, has anyone ever done anything with the WIld Nature Project? http://www.wildnatureproject.com/ Seems a little hippie-ish but with some good bushcraft fundamentals. They are a local business but they seem kind of fly-by-night; they don't have any schedules posted for 2012 yet and to me that is a poor sign.

Just looking for any experience or, lacking that, rumor and hearsay that anyone has on these guys. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm a new member and love what is going on here. Name is Spook, OK OK not my real name but that is what I'm called.I'm from Berne Indiana very near Fort Wayne. I am retired Military, US Air Force. I was in the medical field. I now own and operate ISAC Indiana Strategic Airsoft Command, Game and Training Grounds
( http://indiana-airsoft-games.webs.com/ ) I would love to offer my field to any ZS chapter who would like to use it for training or event.. I also would like to start a chapter here in Indiana.. I hold big Airsoft Military war games called milsims and this October A big Zombie out break game.. I will post more info else where in the forum... Looking forward to meeting others and making new friends.. I am a past member of the Fort Wayne Indiana Ghost Trackers.
I will be taking the steps to start a chapter if any of you are interested.. My wife will be aboard as well, as soon as they get the time to get on and become members. I believe it's time to to make this happen... Again hope to meet you all and get you aboard...

Hello all you Zombie Squad guys.

My name is Baret and I am the minister at old Union Christian Church located near Evansville IN. I am hosting an event on my church property where "shooters will battle the undead through multiple scenarios in which he/she must effectively utilize their pistol, shotgun, or AR. A security operative team is coming all the way from Cincinnati to teach you skills and practical tips on how to defend yourself against the undead. Everything from room clearing, pistol manipulation, EMT skills, and Indiana deadly force law.

The event is May 19th, 10am - dark. There will be crossbow shooting, tomahawk throwing, concessions and much more! We are raffling off an ATV, ammo, zombies, and more.

These Zombies will be full sized 3d gel torso and head zombies that will be behind corners, doors, comming out of the ground and more! The courses are not timed, or scored - go through at your own pace. Sound fun? Wanna get involved? Ok. Hoosiers

We are having our first event this comming sunday the 22nd at 4pm in indianapolis. PM or email your RSVP.

It will be a can drive/Cookout...

But we are preppers so here is the twist.

Its the basics. We will do a no frills pitch in. with a twist... bring your mess kit and canteen cups. (or cup and plate. See below) there will not be paper goods to clean up or waste. The zombies are at walmart... LOL (We might make exceptions for a few red solo cups if they have names on them)

We are having Hot dogs on the grill and drinks, and any fixins or sides people wanna bring to share. ( just pm me for what you wanna bring or what we might need.
We will play cards and watch the kiddies play so bring the whole family.
We will also talk about the future events and activities.

***Dont forget to bring the can goods and non parishable foods.
The food banks request id protien based like Peanut butter, Canned Meats, and canned meat/pastas. But any and all is a help.

Beginning prepper tip: You dont have to go out and get the greatest mess kit or spend a fortune on gear. A simple metal style pie pan (Maybe 2.99 at doller general), a folding fork or utensal kit (1.99 Military Surplus) a simple canteen cup(3.99 Military surplus) and a bandanna (1.99 or maybe 6 for 5.99 at tractor supply) this will let you join in on most any food event.
