Yeah but you can easily cheat at the "I have more guns than you" game
Ahem.. That's not cheating, that's a tax write off.

I don't feel right voting in the poll, since I don't live there, but the only way I can make it is if it's on the 24th or later. I'm leaving Northern California driving on the 22nd or 23rd.

Just a note that there is the crossroads of the west gun show that weekend in Phoenix

just to update my own status so you have a head count, there's no way I see me being able to do a range day this weekend due to my frickin insane work schedule. I could possibly do a low key meetup revolving around movie or food, anything that doesn't require a lot of brain. but I'm just not going to have the focus and coordination for something physical.

Gun Nut, I visited your shop today and introduced myself to your lil bro.

Is this thing still going on? I voted for Saturday.

Right now the 24th is winning, but we still don't have a range picked out.

Nice shop. I must have driven by it a million times not knowing it was there.
I like the inauguration sale!

My vote is for this place. I need a bench to sight in a weapon. :-) If it's rainy, are we pushing it to another weekend?

I'm heading down here tomorrow: http://www.tucsonshooting.org/SERP.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It was cold & wet all day today, probably more of the same tomorrow too.
I love the weather, it's just not great to shoot in.

Might be able to show up tommorow, but from the sounds of it this sorta lost steam. Next month might be better, http://www.tucsonshooting.org/SERP.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; does sound good though if the weather is still nasty (rain ruins the targets and no way I can get into the desert in my car with mud) closes at 4 or 5 though kinda sucks =/

That would be a nice place to meet. Unfortunately I am at the gun show most of the day. Maybe a new day would be better.

DM, let us know how the range went and if they have any target restrictions.

I agree GN, need a new date.

Everything was cool.

They have their own stands, so you just gotta show up with targets and tape or a stapler.
They don't seem to have any ammunition restrictions as far as steel cores etc. go.

I doubt it, however I was shooting at hand drawn targets on grid paper. Next time I'll be shooting silhouettes. ...they do not have anything listed in the range rules about types of targets. They do have really nice target frames filled in with cardboard. I think they're just concerned about folks destroying the frames.

Since they're Uber safety conscious, it's a decent place to take/meet noobies.

edit: I've got some more crap to zero, who knows what I'll be shooting at next time.. but I'll definitely ask.
