Got into The Old Republic beta last weekend and was quite impressed. I realised that they had nailed it when I instinctively tried to hit the space bar to pause the game like you could in KoTOR. The only real issue I had was that I inadvertently have my bounty hunter the same build as Christina Hendricks.

Skyrim is devouring my life AND I LOVE IT! I've got 60+ hours into a character and I'm already thinking of another character and new ways to play!

I burned my self out on Skyrim, so taking a bit of a break, was on vacation so didn't play much, did get to dabble in the SWTOR beta with my old SWG guild.
I'm imrpressed, was fun. Were rolling as Sith with a laid back guild, no focusing on Raids or PvP mostly just playing the game, so if anyone needs a Sith guild on a PvE server lemme know

I plan to roll a Smuggler, so I tried it out and like it, went to lvl 3. Not wanting to spoil the story, I made a Jedi Consular. Hollyyy shit. Lets just say, the guys who did body number 2 for blue Twi'lek females got it right

It's worth noting I don't generally play women, and don't intend to play one as a Smug. But holy shiiiittttt...

I played to level 9, got my lightsaber, was very pleased with self. If it weren't for crotch kick, I'd feel out matched in awesome as a Smug, throwing stuff using the force is kind of addictive.

Just wait till I get my hands on the bastard that stole my ship. Like an hour into game play and I already have green women flirting with me

I've heard though that the Separatists have better, more "human" story arcs. This intrigues me, because the (republican) stories I have done where awesome.

game is awesome, I just don't really see it as an mmo as far as I got (lvl 10). Seemed very single player oriented to me. Probably better group activities at higher levels. I also pre ordered about two months ago. I will roll a smuggler and bh, didn't want to spoil any of that so I rolled jedi. Jedi story was well done and I'll probably play one at some point. Felt cool to finally get the lightsaber and then to get some cool ass green crystals for it. bam!

Left 4 Dead, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, and Black Ops Zombies on XBOX 360. Also World at War Zombies on my iPod. Halo counts, too, I guess, considering the Flood are basically more mutated zombies.

Just Cause 2. JC takes all that's wrong with AC, fixes it, and swaps assassinations for machineguns. Oh, and swaps horses for choppers, supercars, and streetbikes. Me RIKEY!

There were four games that came out in 2011 that I really wanted: Space Marine, Saints Row The Third, Serious Sam BFE and Skyrim. I was only going to get one this Christmas, but all except Skyrim went on significant sales so I splurged and got the other three for ~$75.

I've mostly been playing Saints Row the Third. I like it a lot so far. It's juvenile and over-the-top, but in a good way I think.

I played the first little bit of Space Marine, just enough to get a good first impression and realize that I was going to have to dig out my USB controller. I'm a big fan of 40k and Relic/THQ seem to know how to do it right.
